Privacy policy

This site collects one thing: what you type into a form and send us. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no cookie on any page.

What we collect

If you submit the demo request form, we receive the name, work email, company, role, country, industry, approximate number of people doing the lifting, where you are up to with support equipment, and anything you write in the notes box. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we receive the email address you enter. Nothing else is gathered from your visit.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, and to route your inquiry to the right person. The industry and headcount fields exist so the person who contacts you already understands the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside Apex2 and the processors named below.

Who handles it

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, who pass them to Apex2. Your data is stored in Apex2’s own systems from that point on.

What we do not do

  • No analytics or measurement scripts of any kind.
  • No advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • No cookies. This site sets none.
  • No profiling and no automated decision-making.

Everything this site needs is served from this domain. The fonts, the animation libraries and every image are hosted here, so your browser makes no request to any third party until you play a video on the Validation page, and until then there is no one else to receive your IP address.

The Validation page shows videos hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play on one: what loads with the page is a still image served from here. Once you do press play, your browser connects to youtube-nocookie.com and Google receives your IP address, under its own privacy policy rather than this one.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as we are talking, and afterwards for as long as needed to keep a record of the conversation. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to how we use it or to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us and we will action it.
